HOTEL RESERVATIONS

Situated on the banks of the Willamette River in downtown Portland, the recently renovated Marriott-Downtown Hotel offers spectacular views and excellent accommodations as well as a convenient location for enjoying Portland's many attractions. The hotel's numerous amenities include an indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna and health club (free to Marriott guests). Guest rooms are equipped with the STSN high-speed Internet system for fast and easy Internet access. 

We would like to bring to your attention that Portland is extremely popular in July and August. It is very difficult to find hotel rooms if reservations are not made in advance. We strongly recommend that you send your hotel reservation to the Portland Marriott Downtown as soon as possible. 

The discounted room rate at the Portland Marriott Downtown for PICMET attendees ($129 for a single and $139 for a double) is guaranteed for those who make their reservations on or before Friday, June 29, 2001. However, we strongly advise that you make a reservation before then because the rooms could sell out.
